Bajaj Auto has recently increased the prices of its entire motorcycle line-up in India.

along with the Pulsar, Avengers and commuter range, the company's only electric two-wheeler- the Chetak, also gets a hike for July.

The scooter is now priced at Rs 1.54 lakh, ex-showroom Pune which makes it a whopping Rs 12,749

more expensive than its previous price tag of Rs 1.41 lakh.

 Bajaj has hiked the Chetak’s price by a substantial 9 per cent.

despite the price hike, the electric scooter remains the same in terms of styling, features and hardware as well.

That said, Bajaj has sold over 14,000 units of the Chetak since its launch in 2019.

 company is looking to meet the existing 10,000 bookings with the opening of its new manufacturing plant at Akurdi, Pune.

The facility is already operational and is capable of assembling up to 5 lakh units annually
